Menopause is a natural biological process, not a medical illness. Even so, the physical and moving symptoms of menopause can disturb your sleep, sap your energy and — at least indirectly — trigger feelings of sadness and loss. Hormonal changes cause the bodily symptoms of menopause, but mistaken beliefs about the menopausal transition are partly to blame for the moving ones. First, menopause doesn&#8217;t mean the end is near — you&#8217;ve still got as much as half your life to go. Second, menopause will not snuff out your femininity and sexuality. In fact, you may be one of the many women who find it beneficial to stop upsetting about pregnancy and periods. Causes of MenopauseMenopause happens due to a sharp decrease of female hormones in the body. Scientists do not know what triggers the ovaries to stop working and hormone levels to change [Figure 1].A woman&#8217;s menstrual cycle is influenced by a complex system of hormones. It is a change in these hormones that causes menopause to occur.Two substances &#8211; called luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) &#8211; start the process of the monthly menstrual cycle. They are released into the bloodstream by the brain&#8217;s pituitary gland, and signal the ovaries in the reproductive system to produce the female sex hormones estrogen and progesterone. Estrogen and progesterone work to prepare a woman&#8217;s body for possible pregnancy.Symptoms of Menopause•    Hot flashes and night sweats•    Depression•    Mood swings•    Dry skin and hair•    Anxiety•    Insomnia•    Weight gain•    Vaginal dryness•    Bone density loss•    Changes in libido and sexual enjoymentTreatment of MenopauseSome of the changes in menopause can be relieved by giving replacement estrogen in place of the hormone that is no longer made by the body. The decision to take estrogen substitute therapy (ERT) or hormone substitute therapy (HRT), which is a grouping of estrogen and progesterone, should be an individualized alternative. A woman and her doctor should systematically discuss the benefits and risks before launch therapy.In recent years, recommendations for taking HRT have changed. While HRT has been shown to be outstanding for relieving hot flashes and for prevent osteoporosis-related fracture, it may cause small increase in the risk of other problems such as heart assault, stroke, and breast cancer. Recent studies have also shown a slight increase in the risk of rising dementia.Boil few carrot seeds in a glassful of milk. Drink this milk with inducement seeds in it on a daily basis. It is very useful in menopause.Home Remedies for Menopause1.    During menopause, there is a chance of osteoporosis situation in due to loss of calcium. Hence take adequate care of your calcium intake. Foods rich in calcium are: milk and milk products, cheese, beans and peas.2.    Drink beetroot juice daily or include it in salads. This is an effective home remedy for menopause.3.    Include healthy and dietetic food in your diet during menopause. Minerals like calcium, magnesium become lacking during this, hence diet rich in these raw materials and vitamins, especially Vitamin D, is highly optional.4.    Eat green leafy vegetables, fruits, grains, sprouts, milk and cheese. Freshly prepared fruit juice is highly optional during this period.5.    The vagina gets dried and cause pain during and after menopause is attained. Menopausal women should swallow at least 8-10 glass of water and additional fluids like freshly prepared fruit juice. However, caffeine, alcohol should be avoided.6.    Soy foods are also obliging in increasing the amount of estrogen in the body. They control the cholesterol level, make bone strong, and improve hot flashes..7.    Linseed is another helpful home remedy for the treatment of menopause.</div>

Most notable is the loss of essential vitamins and nutrients that may cause you to feel weak or exhausted. Some women don&#8217;t feel the automatic response of tiredness, but over the long run they will find themselves unable to keep up the energy level they had before they started having hot flashes.</p>
<p>Hot flashes deplete our body of necessary vitamins such as Vitamin B, Vitamin C, and other nutrients such as Magnesium, and Potassium. Possibly even Calcium is lost leading to bone density problems later in life.</p>
<p>For mild to moderate hot flashes, you should consider taking a dosage of 400 to 800 IU&#8217;s of Vitamin E to aid your body in controlling the hot flashes. Vitamin E is fat soluble and must be taken with a meal in order for it to be properly absorbed. The recommended regimen is to take 1 tablet with each of your meals, up to 3 per day. You shouldn&#8217;t take over 200 IU&#8217;s at any given day.</p>
<p>More does not mean better in the case of any vitamin. It may take approximately 2 to 6 weeks for you to see the results, but up to 65% find this vitamin alone effective in controlling hot flashes. Vitamin B6 and Peridin-C, which contains antioxidants, are also good choices. They should not be taken with the Vitamin E but if Vitamin E does not work, these are viable solutions.</p>
<p>Magnesium is considered to be the most underrated of all menopause remedies. It is actually the fourth most abundant mineral in our bodies, and the one taken most for granted. Magnesium is found in your bones and it is what keeps our bones strong and healthy. During menopause and more specifically hot flashes, our body can deplete our supply leading to brittle bones and postmenopausal osteoporosis. Although the magnesium deficiency alone won&#8217;t cause osteoporosis, it actually alters the calcium metabolism and the hormones that regulate the calcium.</p>
<p>You can find many one a day vitamins that have both magnesium and calcium in them. Together, along with Vitamin E or other herbal treatments, the addition of magnesium and calcium can go a long way in managing hot flashes. Taking vitamins for a hot flash is indeed a very viable remedy for a lot of women!</p></div>
